Today we are supporting Safer Internet Day 2021
The theme of Safer Internet Day 2021 is An Internet We Trust and today all of the children are going to be doing activities based around Internet safety.
What an exciting and busy morning we have had already, Miss Diemer started the day by sharing an assembly with the children that included some Fake news. The children had to decide if Mr Kumar had really been signed by Liverpool football club over the weekend and whether or not Mrs Wickenden had married a snowman!
Reception have been looking at the Adventures of Smartie the Penguin and doing some activities linked to this - see attached to look at their fabulous work. Key Stage 1 are looking at Digiduck and his advice from Wise Owl. They're making a poster based on his advice.
Yr 3&4 are having a virtual visit from Hazard Alley and Yrs 5 & 6 are looking at Fake News and satire, and creating a Safer Internet Poster and fake news articles.
